Song of the Day: ‘Our Day Will Come,’ Amy Winehouse

I doubt that there is a steady stream of posthumous releases of material from Amy Winehouse, as there is for such artists as Jimi Hendrix and Tupac Shakur. Winehouse, frankly, spent too much of her short, troubled life does not work – on the road, or in the studio.
The album lead-off track and current single, a reggae version of “Our day will come” – best known as a 1963 hit for Ruby & The Romantics. I suspect that the neutral instruments rather than Winehouse’s deftly delivered, usually sweet-sour song that always made him “Frank,” but at least it’s a treat for fans Winehouse.
